Arcade Longplay [001] Jurassic Park

www.longplays.net Played by Ironclaw Great Arcade classic!. I only played it two times, first time half the game to see if it worked correctly and stuff, second time I recorded the whole game. I used up 3 lives, would have been 2, but the game has graphic glitches and in some parts the collision detection were off and I couldn't shoot the stuff properly. I had about a half second delay on the cursor movement, no setting in the emulator made it better… wasn't so annoying anyway. At 13 the game has a big "hick-up", it happened during the recording and causes a slight sound delay in the rest of the movie. Whenever I lose a life, the game will have a quick "hick-up", it's just the "press start to continue" screen I cutted away. A temporary link to the original file just so you can see what it really should look like: www.fileshost.com

What’s your favorite Classic Arcade Game? Steve Wiebe, King of Kong Interview

While games like Grand Theft Auto 4 may be all the rage today with their advanced graphics and expansive maps, old school classics like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga haven't become any less fun over the years. We went down to the Twiistup event in Santa Monica to speak to Steve Wiebe and Walter Day from the documentary movie, The King of Kong to find out why games that were made over two decades ago are still being played, and to get the scoop on Steve's Donkey Kong world record attempt. We also took two steps outside our studio to speak to gamers at the Joystiq.com reader meetup, which was hosted at Mahalo's HQ. Make sure to leave a comment telling us what your favorite retro video game is! www.mahalo.com www.mahalo.com www.mahalo.com www.mahalo.com www.mahalo.com www.mahalo.com for more visit mahalodaily.com

Time Killers 1992 (Arcade)

Released in 1992 by Strata and developed by Incredible Technologies for the arcades, Time Killers is a fighting game that attempted to cash in on the success of Mortal Kombat. One of my favorite aspects of this game and the only reason you'd ever play it is how damage is dealt with. Enough damage to a lib and it will be torn off. It is possible to have both arms torn off and if you manage to win, you will be awarded with an "Armless Victory". Time Killers also features what I believe is the first ever one hit death in a fighting game. This game is incredibly gory and violent which brings tons of replay value when playing against others. Time Killers was eventually ported over to the Sega Genesis by another company but failed due to poor graphics and and playability.
