Free Website Paves Career for New Architect
A new college graduate, zero experience and the economic crisis create the perfect formula for an increase in the educated underemployed in the country. An idealistic, hopeful architect is on the look out for the best suitable job in the most prominent architectural firms only to be told that hiring has temporarily ceased not only in their firm, but in the entire region.
It was not hard to believe because of the number of people from various industries getting laid off by the minute. And with the crisis in construction costs, architectural services were sure to feel the blow.
I choose not to be disheartened by circumstances that have brought many middle class new architects like me to get into a salesman uniform. What I chose to do was to design a free website
that portrays every single inch of the architect in me.
I wrote a fancy resume with flipping pages as you would imagine of a book. I placed some photos back in college and when I had trainings in institutions in Germany and Australia. I created a flash gallery of my 3D renderings, hand and CAD drawings and housing and facilities concept designs. I may be an architect but I am not a web designer. However, if you get to see my website, you will think I spent a whole lot on it. It is unbelievably cost free!
My website through Wix.com became my online portfolio that has now earned me a job in one of the most respectable architectural consultancies in Queensland.

I am not just a pet lover, but I am a veterinarian who has dedicated most of my life studying and caring for animals, not just pets. With the countless pet grooming spots all over, you will never know how your passion will get to be a hit business that you have once thought it would be.
If there would be someone who will understand the needs to raise healthy pets and address pet ailments of all possible types, a veterinarian is the only solution. If there would be someone who will understand cleaning the pets up and make them eye-catching and gorgeous especially in the eyes of their fellow animals, a grooming professional is the solution. Well, I am both.
The new specialized pet grooming lounge I have conceptualized and opened for business recently is not gaining the footfall it needs. I have reason to believe it is because my joint is compared with the usual pet grooming spots, which I am not. I don’t just create extravagant pet hair-dos. I raise healthy ones and cure the unwell ones.
Aside from the fancy leaflets I have handed out as newspaper and magazine inserts, I designed a free website to aid in my campaign in increasing my competitive edge. The website was extremely easy to build. The animations, skins and effects all brought my website into a higher level of promoting my specialized service.
Well it did not take long till I got the pace that I wanted. Thanks to Wix.com.
