The Beauty Of Volley Ball In Puerto Vallarta

Beautiful and Puerto Vallarta should be synonyms. Don’t you think? Well I think so. During the past week the focus on Puerto Vallarta was the gorgeous bikini girls who have come from different parts of the world. These beauties are here in Puerto Vallarta competing for the Women’s International Beach Volleyball Tournament. This exciting tournament began on the 12 of June and continued till the 14 of June, this year. I should also add that this event is going to act as a “warm up event” for the Pan American Games which will be hosted in our very own beloved Puerto Vallarta in the year 2011.

This event began with a press conference, where the president honored and welcomed all the participants that were competing in Puerto Vallarta. Guess what was next? Well a party of course! A fabulous party then begun at Mandala where drinks and dancing girls lightened up the night. Corona was on full swing and so were the dance moves of the girls who rocked the dance floor.

A total number of 12 countries were competing for this event that lasted for three days. And all of them were trying for one thing and one thing only; and that was, to be the number one team. As two days passed by, a total of only 4 teams remained which included USA, Brazil, Poland and Greece. The teams from Poland and Greece competed for both the 3rd as well as the 4th place. But it was Greece which finally took the third place in the tournament.

Folks, this game, this tournament was beyond entertaining. It was thrilling! For the final game USA’s team played against Brazil’s team. It was a tough game and ultimately Brazil attained the top position. The team of Brazil won the title and a total prize sum of $1500. Consequently the team of USA attained the second place and Greece the third. The grandeur of the game, the thrill, the excitement, it was all contagious. It was such an exhilarating sight to see these beauties working their way at the game that a total number of 3000 spectators were glued to the proceedings of the game. The crowd was ecstatic, and was constantly cheering the teams to “buck up” and do well, which in fact, they did.

Primarily it was a great game, a great source of excitement for all those who attended. The Mayor, Javier Bravo was also interviewed at this event. He shared his plans and thoughts as how to bring back the life and the tourists to Puerto Vallarta. He shared the range of upcoming events that would be firing up Puerto Vallarta, which will play an integral part in promoting the tourism of Puerto Vallarta.

The second half of this great show, featured rides to Guayabitos, which in collaboration with the local Harley Davidson Club, in Los Piratas, added fuel to the fun. It was the Harley Davidson bike rallies, among many that take place throughout the different places in Mexico. It was thrilling to witness that over 1000 bikes were present, from all the different parts of the world. Bikes from Canada, USA and Mexico were a part of this bike rally. In all, this was one exciting event!

IaE?m So Happy I Found Kids Costumes That I Could Afford to Buy!

My kids were crushed when they found out I couldn’t buy new costumes for Halloween this year and they’d have to resort to making their own, or wearing the old ones. I wished I could get them some cool costumes for kids, but it just wasn’t possible this year. I had no way of getting that much money together just for costumes. It’s tough having three kids to raise alone and having to worry about shoes and school clothes every year, without the added expense of a halloween costume for kids. It broke my heart that I couldn’t buy new ones, but I was at a loss. When you’re broke, you’re broke. But of course, being kids, they couldn’t fathom the idea of mom being broke.

While talking with the neighbor next door, I found out that she had just purchased brand new child costumes for her kids. I couldn’t believe she was able to buy new costumes for all the kids, since she has to stretch every dollar like I do. That’s when she let me know about an online kids halloween costume store that has it all. Naturally I asked for the link. There were so many different children costume selections to choose from. I was really surprised at how little they cost. There were cartoon characters, race car icons and more.

This is a selection of kid costume ideas that my children will go crazy over. There were super heroes, pirates and so many different costume ideas for kids. I was so excited about telling them about the new costumes they were getting this year. This news couldn’t have come at a better time, since there’s halloween parties at school and so many of the kids have new costumes. Now my kids won’t have to wear old kids costumes for their party at school. When the kids found out about all the selections they could choose from, they were thrilled. Their biggest task now is making a decision on their which costume they wanted. My older son didn’t know if he waned to be Batman or a ninja. My second born had to decide between Tony Stewart the Nascar driver or a heroic fireman. When it comes to my little girl, I pictured her as a princess or a fairy, but she wants to be a banana. Once she got a look at the banana outfit, she didn’t want to see anything else. She’s the only one of my kids that quickly made up her mind. I’m just grateful that I was told about this super savings store that has every imaginable costume that you could think of for kids.

Getting these costumes at such a low price really helped my bank account. It definitely put a smile on three little faces. It was surprising how many accessories they offer for halloween. There are masks for some of the costumes and wigs that can go with all kinds of outfits. I saw some pretty awesome halloween decorations for the home, too. The kids talked me into buying a few things to decorate the house with. So, I bought a door cover, some window clings and little bats and spiders. Finally after going over and over the selections, the kids made their final decision on the costume situation. My first born planned to be batman. My second child opted for the pirate. Know matter how many costumes I showed my daughter, she still wanted to be a banana.

So, I ordered from the child costume selection and they were delivered in no time. The children were so anxious to model them for me. The boys looked so cool in their costumes. But, it was the little banana that won the prize.

Empire: Total War

This increasingly homogenized gaming landscape of ours is a double-edged sword. On one hand it means we all get to play the latest games no matter what platform we run as our gaming setup, but on the other the lack of platform-exclusive titles means there are very few games that aim to do what a specific machine does best. The PC is not always the ideal arcade machine, but what it does right is strategy games and Empire: Total War is one of the strongest and most complete strategy games there is or ever has been.

What The Creative Assembly (CA) is doing with Empire is making a game that is at once more in-depth, more complicated and even more far-reaching than any of its predecessors, while still making it the Total War iteration that can really bring in new players. After all, the Total War franchise has always been one of those series that practically every PC gamer has at one time or another thought was a series they ought to play. Sadly, all too many felt they’d be coming too late to the party.

So late in fact that everybody else would already be insensible and the only way to catch up would be to down that unpalatable bottle of ginger wine that is inexplicably the only thing left, inanimate or otherwise, that’s not drunk. Empire though includes an arm round the shoulder of the newcomer to overcome this feeling of alienation and help you catch up with the folk that have been there quaffing since the beginning.

Natives. Thousands of Them

For all the historical battles and skirmish modes, the meat of the game is, and always has been, the Grand Campaign. This time though there is another, shorter campaign – called the Road to Independence (RTI) – designed specifically to draw in the new player and guide them through the game’s structure. It’s so much more than a tutorial though. The shorter play time and specific goals make it a far more story-driven and immediately involving affair. From the first skirmish with hordes of native Americans hurling themselves at your unfamiliar firearms, to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this mini-campaign rattles along at a fair pace.

It loosely holds your hand all the way through, giving you objectives and a tighter, less dauntingly huge campaign map, but still gives you the freedom to explore and experiment. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this story-driven route sets a precedent for the inevitable expansions that are bound to follow.

The RTI campaign is a great place to start even for experienced players, as the Grand Campaign is truly huge and not a little daunting. The three meaty continents (Europe, the Americas and India) coupled with another four (naval-only) trade theatres comprise the full playing area and can lead to wars on many fronts if you’re not careful. With the previous games, your faction would start out small, giving you time to expand at your own pace. Empire drops you in at the deep end with plenty of the playable technologically advanced factions that are and already spread out across the globe. The RTI serves as a good proving ground for what is a very different – yet still familiar – game.

The big change that CA has been making the most noise about is the inclusion of the playable naval battles. Taking your ships into a skirmish is a very different experience from the more traditional land battles and helps breaks up the campaign, stopping it from ever really feeling stale.

The visuals on these briny skirmishes are incredible; with crew swarming the rigging, snipers taking pot-shots from the masts and everyone leaping to their watery grave when the wooden boats start to get a bit leaky. Get a lucky shot in to ignite the powder kegs and you’re treated to some beautiful explosions; get a fire started aboard ships and you’ll soon see it spread through the masts and sails in no time.

Unfortunately though, the naval battles still feel very much like a first run at getting vehicles into the Total War series. Controlling these lumbering, cannon-laden beasts can be frustrating: genuine naval tactics fast disappear out of the window as you struggle to bring your navy’s cannons to bear on the enemy. It’s not too bad when you’ve got a small group of ships, but once the engagements escalate in scale, it starts to feel like you’re trying to herd cats. Brittle cats with no sense of direction that are prone to running into each other and inexplicably dying. I can’t help but love the action, though these sea-borne shenanigans bring a salty breath of fresh sea air to the campaign game. The land battles feel remarkably different too; the age of gunpowder has changed the way you need to approach an enemy. And is it satisfying. Watching the on-rushing enemy collapse under the weight of lead ripping through skin as your front line unleashes a devastating volley truly is something to savor.

Everything’s Relative

Everything is interconnected this time as well. From the campaign and battle Al right down to the trading price of a loaf of sugar. Want to increase the prices of a certain commodity? Then blockade a rival empire’s ports, cut down the supply and watch the market go through the roof. The beauty of the game is you are not obliged to play right down at the micro-management level. If all you’re interested in is the warfare, then you can simply move your pieces from battle to battle, or if it’s the grand Risk-style strategy that floats your flagship, then you can opt to let the Al figure out the skirmishes. Should you want to get elbow-deep into the minutiae of the 18th Century process of empire-building, you can, but it’s not necessarily a decision that you have to stick with either, allowing you to pick and choose your level of involvement.

But where would a Total War game be without Al bugs? Admittedly, the Al is far better in general compared to the occasionally times when an enemy army will be attacking on the campaign map, only to hold their lines on the battlefield, refusing to budge an inch.

These are relatively minor niggles in the shadow of this colossus of a game. The challenges presented by the Grand Campaign firmly establish Empire as the stuff of legend: it’s far-reaching, truly massive and utterly engrossing. Once more, CA has refused to rest upon its laurels, creating one hell of a time-filching game; expect some late nights and cancelled social engagements once Empire hits your hard drive.

The UPS Signature Vehicle

When it comes to the largest package delivery service in the world, UPS is considered as the only one that excels in such service. Headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia, United States, UPS have recorded to deliver more than 15 million packages a day to 6.1 million customers in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. With this record, there is no wonder why UPS have been considered as the world’s largest package delivery company.

The UPS Signature Vehicle Being the leading company in package delivery, UPS mainly boast its capability with the vehicle they use, from package cars, trucks, and airlines to train and bicycles. But among their most notable vehicle is their use of their package cars. The UPS package car (or van) is a major symbol of the U.S. business world, with its iconic status referenced in an early-2000s ad campaign following UPS’ sponsorship of Dale Jarrett in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: the ads were about how the company would prefer to race the truck over a stock car despite the futility of doing so, as “people love the truck”. The classic UPS package car is built on a General Motors or Ford chassis, has a manual transmission, manual steering, and no radio or air conditioning. The older ones are easily recognizable due to their round headlights and turn signals set onto a sculpted fiberglass hood.

According to freight philippines companies, these are either Grumman Olson P-600 or P-800 step vans. Their success in the industry made several advancement with their package cars. Newer package cars in North America have either a Freightliner Trucks or Navistar International chassis; automatic transmissions and power steering are slowly appearing in package cars. UPS also operates Dodge Sprinter box vans in rural areas as well as Dodge Grand Caravan minivans. UPS has package cars that operate on Propane in Canada. The only issue with that is that when temperatures are below feezing 32F/0C they don’t work well. The gas won’t atomize. Consequently UPS Canada has had a shortage of fleet vehicles. In 2008 and 2009, according to freight philippines companies UPS Canada has been using rental vans or box trucks to help ease the vehicle shortage.

According to freight philippines companies, when package cars reach the end of their useful service life (typically 20–25 years or more), they are almost always dismantled for spare parts; the only exception being when they are repainted white for internal use. China’s Wind Power Equipment Industry Received a Huge Order of 5.25 Million KW

On April 20th, 2009, Gold Wind won the bid of wind power concession projects of Inner Mongolia and Hebei, totaling 775,500 KW. The 517 bid machines are all GW77-1500 and the total value reaches RMB 4.187 billion (611 million USD). The delivery period spans from 2009 to 2012. XEMC won the bid of wind power concession projects of Fengning Wansheng wind power plant on Hebei Chengde wind power base, altogether 150,000 KW totaling RMB 797 million (116.3 million USD). In addition, XEMC also won the bid of wind power projects of Weichang Yudaokou wind power plant on Hebei Chengde wind power base, altogether 200,000 KW totaling RMB 796 million (116.2 million USD).

This wind power project of 5.25 million KW involves 25 wind power plants. Over 20 wind power entire-machine enterprises participate in bidding. Compared with the 3.8 million KW project bid of Gansu Jiuquan, the number of enterprises which have won the bids shows a slight increase. In the project of Gansu Jiuquan, besides Gold Wind, Sinovel and DEC, CSIC (Chongqing) Haizhuang also won a small bid. It is estimated that about 5 enterprises will win the bids this time and the share made up by the additional enterprises except the three tycoons will see an apparent increment. At present, after developing technologies and establishing productivity at early stage, altogether 70 plus wind power entire-machine enterprises have owned capability of bulk supply. Therefore, they all make great efforts to win the huge bid this time. In addition, what’s worth noticing is that Guodian United Power Technology Company Ltd, a subsidiary of China Guodian Corporation, also participates in bidding for four wind power plants, some of which belong to the China Longyuan Electric Power Group Corporation, another subsidiary of China Guodian Corporation. In this way, the combination of wind power operator and wind power supplier might be a trend of China’s domestic wind power market in future.

In this bidding, the price of wind power machines witnesses an apparent drop. The price of GW77-1500 bid won by Gold Wind in June 2008 stood at RMB 6398/KW that time and slipped to RMB 5399/KW this time. Although the prices of raw materials and spare parts affect the prices of bid machines, another factor of fierce competition within China’s wind power equipment industry can not be ignored as well. It is predicted that the total output of Gold Wind, Sinovel and DEC in 2009 will reach 7 million KW. Even if the demand will perhaps jump to 120 million KW in 2020, China’s wind power industry will represent an inevitable trend of surplus. In general, wind power entire-machine industry will see an increasingly apparent decline in gross profits in future. Certainly, there are differences between enterprises. Some will be kicked out and some excellent ones will create more profits than the average amount of the whole industry.

The increased installed capacity of China’s wind power machines rose by 89 percent to 6.25 million KW in 2008 and the amount of this bid reached 5.25 million KW. It is predicted that China’s demand for wind power will see an annual growth rate of 30 percent to 50 percent, for China is actively planning to build six 10-million-KW wind power bases.

Hifonics Zeus Subwoofer: A Value-Priced Subwoofer

Hifonics was first set up in 1981, November to be exact. Helmut Stieglitz, the man behind the first trades of Hifonics, decided on a very interesting concept that would put the first faces to the Hifonics company. Instead of using simple number and letter combinations to denote series and models, Hifonics borrows the names of Greek, Teutonic, Roman, and Egyptian gods to use in order to create a memorable name that wouldn’t be confused (like, say the 700 series versus 800 series).

his has certainly paid off, because some series, like the Hifonics Zeus subwoofer series, are easy to remember. Hifonics is now owned by Maxxsonics, which continues to win numerous SPL wars.

Team Maxxsonics, as mentioned, consistently places in the top rankings for their sound pressure levels. They have won so many competitions using their strategies and products. As Hifonics has fallen into the hands of the Maxxsonics team, the company will absolutely continue to produce better car audio equipment aimed to pack as much power into a consumer model (rolling around in a competition car wouldn’t be too fun, some of them can’t even drive!) as possible while maintaining a low cost to make things affordable. Mr. Stieglitz certainly picked the best team to hand over his creations to, because we’re going to see some good things come out of Hifonics in the future.
The Hifonics Zeus series seems to be focused on efficiency and volume. Hifonics aimed to increase the sound pressure levels as much as possible without sacrificing the durability aspect of the subwoofers. Well, this Zeus series has certainly drawn the positive reviews. It takes volume to a whole new level. There have been very little reported problems with the sound qualities of this line, so Hifonics seems to have succeeded in not only preserving durability, but also the sound quality. The Zeus line comes in two sizes: the 10-inch and the 12-inch. On sound emission, the entire Zeus series is reported to produce soft yet stable and powerful booming bass lines. Maybe this is why they call it efficient. The Hifonics Zeus series is one of the most inexpensive on the market, yet all models can produce sounds that match up with the best in the industry when it comes to sound pressure levels. Sound quality might be questionable, but SPL is definitely there.

You can pick up the cheapest Hifonics Zeus model sometimes for under $100. While other brands are charging over $500 for not even their best subwoofers, Hifonics and Maxxsonics decides to charge under $100 for something of equal quality. How amazing is that? Many are actually recommending the inexpensive Hifonics Zeus series as a great way for beginners to play around with tweaking the subwoofers before they jump into the more expensive brands.

JustJess on Wine and NFL Football

Have you ever watched JustJess , Hosted by Jess Altieri of WineHarvest? It’s a good program that talks about the impact of the wine industry in popular commerce and media. Most recently an episode on WineChannelTV referred to wine as the next bet in alcoholic beverages to mainstream with popular sporting events such as the NFL and NBA playoffs. Imagine having an “official wine” sponsor for your favorite NFL Team! It sounds a little bit far fetched but more and more consumers are switching to a good bottle of wine when enjoying an exhilarating game between popular NFL rivalries, especially during Super Bowl season.

I suppose this stems from the fact that Wine and Sports have many relatable characteristics. If you think about the NFL for example, each team has their own set of unique characteristics that they bring to each playoff, with their own line up strategy and individual stats that contribute to the loss or win of a game. Wine is the same, there is no same flavor or universal choice as each blend is made to emulate flavor, palette preference and body.

Let’s put it to the test. If you had to think about what kind of wine you would associate with your favorite NFL team, what do you think you would pick? My favorite is the Cleveland Browns and if I had to conceptualize an “official team wine” I’d have to say that my first pick is the Roubie Syrah. This unique blend is very similar to a good Croze wine, with a supple and spicy dark flavor that explodes in your mouth, a great all rounder. The Brows with their overall athleticism and full on approach would fit the Roubie Syrah profile perfectly.

Motorcycle Safety Clothing and Why This is Important

To improve motorcycle safety many countries order the wearing of protective clothing by motorcyclists, especially a helmet. Other protective equipment may include certain types of jackets, gloves, boots, and pants. Jackets meant for motorcyclists are typically made of nylon, leather, or Kevlar. These jackets usually include heavy padding on the elbow, spine, and shoulder regions. Gloves are generally made of leather or Kevlar and some include carbon fiber knuckle protection. Boots, especially those for sport riding, include reinforcement and plastic caps on the ankle and toe areas. A well-protected motorcyclist will wear boots with heels that fit on motorcycle foot rests (pegs) and provide good ankle support. Pants are usually leather, nylon, or Kevlar. Except for helmets, none of these items are required by law in any state in the U.S. but are recommended by many of those who ride.

Types of clothing

Leather Clothing:

Leathers are 1-piece suits, or 2-piece jackets and trousers worn by motorcyclists mainly for protection in a crash. The leather used is not fashion leather but protective leather which is stronger, rather flexible and much tougher. Both leathers and joins (seams and zips) should be officially tested for ergonomics and impact scrape, cut, tear and burst resistance. They do not have to be too heavy and there is no such thing as rivalry leather – just safe and unsafe leather and joins.

Typically, an accident at a race track will result in the racers sliding, rolling and tumbling for reasonably long distances and long times compared to an accident on the public road. This is because of the large safety run-off areas found on most race tracks; hence racers have a much lower probability of hitting hard vertical solid objects during a crash. Some racing leathers have additional protection properties to increase sliding and decrease bouncing and rotation. To decrease or prevent such injuries, most modern racing suits have an area that helps sliding at the knees, shoulders and elbows – often made of titanium or high-density plastic, so the rider slides more along the track environment and so decreases the bouncing and rotation through the air, which may cause inferior injuries from angular accelerations and rotational forces

Currently there are two major styles of motorcycle leathers: the tight fitting and sometimes colorful one or two piece suits based on motorcycle racing leathers; and the somewhat looser fitting leather trousers and jackets, usually black and often decorated with metal studs and tassels.

Textile Clothing:

Increasingly, motorcyclists are choosing protective equipment make up of man-made textiles rather than leather due to their improved weather protection from heat, cold, and water, and the increased value these garments tend to provide in terms of pockets and vents. Common materials include high density (600–1000 Denier) ballistic nylon (e.g., Cordura) and Kevlar (or blends of Kevlar, Cordura, and Lycra) and often include waterproof liners made from materials such as Goretex.

Motorcycling  Boots:

Boots are worn by motorcycle riders and passengers to prevent or diminish harm to their feet and ankles while riding and in the incident of a crash. Tough, strong, moderately flexible boots with rigid soles provide the rider protection from a number of risks. Boots with oil-resistant, rubber-based merged soles give a grip on the concrete and help keep the rider’s feet on the foot rests. If the boots have heels, they should be low and wide to provide a firm base when standing with the bike. In a crash, boots may avoid or reduce foot and ankle injuries.

Helmets:

A motorcycle helmet is protective head covering used by motorcycle riders. The primary target of a motorcycle helmet is to protect the rider’s head during impact, although many helmets provide additional protection such as a face shield. In some countries the wearing of motorcycle helmets is compulsory.

Helmets are made in 2 main layers: hard and energy-absorbing. The hard shell spreads an impact over a larger area, while the liner (often polystyrene foam) absorbs energy so less is transferred to the skull & brain

Gloves:

Motorcycling racing glove

Motorcycling gloves are typically gloves made of leather. They may have gauntlets to protect the rider’s wrists from injury, and help shrink drafts while riding in colder climates. Motorcycling gloves typically have reinforced palms anticipated to protect the rider from scratch injuries in case of an accident.

Optional characteristics include additional protection or weatherproofing. For touring gloves, such additional features may include advanced insulating materials and waterproof/breathable fabric, although touring gloves may still lack advanced armouring features used in motorcycle racing gloves.

Gloves intended for motorcycle racing typically feature precurved finger sections and the best available protection, obtained through additional armour incorporated within the glove. Although maximum tacility is an noticeable starting point for racing gloves, additional protection should not be discarded. Additional protection may involve titanium or carbon panels for knuckles and the joints of the fingers. Furthermore, racing gloves may and often do add in additional wrist and other protection panels to protect the heel of the hand, back of the hand and other easily injured parts of the hand.
